The reason you still have that muffin top or love handles is because that is your genetic predisposition. Everyone has those stubborn areas that seem to attract the fat no matter how little you eat or how much you exercise.

So…what is the answer…? You’re not going to like what I have to say… THE ANSWER IS LIPOSUCTION or get the excess stretched out skin removed.

Does that mean a long recovery, scar, or general anesthesia? No not necessarily. The recovery is minimal for liposuction and will depend on how much fat removed and how many areas liposuctioned. The liposuction scar is tiny and hidden in areas of skin creases. They look like lines in your skin when healed.

The chest area for men and the inner/outer thigh and hip areas for women are excellent for ultra sonic liposuction. This techniques liquifies the fat and allows the most aggressive removal of the fat cells with the least trauma and blood loss. This then allows for a quicker recovery and more dramatic results with one surgery.

Liposuction — The Truth, The Myth, & The Facts

Friday, August 6th, 2010

The unfortunate, ugly truth is that there are areas of the body that are just not amenable to diet, exercise, and spot reducing no matter how much you pay that trainer of yours. Genetics wins on this one.

The flip side of this, your secret weapon is LIPOSUCTION and BODY CONTOURING to specifically attack those stubborn areas like your saddle bags, back fat, muffin top/love handles, and bat wings.

  • Saddle Bags: this area is the most amenable to liposuction and is probably the only thing that will address those arm rests of yours. These are genetic and even very slim women will have these. Ultrasonic liposuction is the most effective method for shrinking the skin and removing the fat, making the thighs in proportion with the remainder of the body. The good news is that this can be done as an outpatient with a quick return to an office type of job after 4-7 days and to a physical job after 7-10 days. (more…)

What’s Involved in a Mommy Makeover & When Can You Have One After Delivery?

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

So you’ve had a few kids and now you’re 20-40 lbs heavier with breasts that are deflated, stretch marks all over your tummy, belly button & breasts. You have skin that hangs over your pubic area that prevent you from being able to tuck in any shirt or find clothes that fit nicely.

You try to eat well, exercise, and be healthy but all you see are your flat saggy breasts and hanging tummy skin. You get discouraged and depressed and you eat that extra piece of cheesecake because … what’s the use, nothing makes any difference!

Let me tell you, break the vicious cycle and take charge of your life. It is true, you will not be able to make the skin shrink or lift your breasts with diet and exercise but it will make you mentally feel better until you can get a MOMMY MAKEOVER!!

What is a MOMMY MAKEOVER? It can consist of a breast augmentation with a breast lift, tummy tuck with liposuction, and/or brachioplasty to reduce the skin of the arms. You can have all of these surgeries done at one time with one recovery depending on how much excess skin and fat will be taken off.

What’s the Truth Behind Liposuction and Lipodissolve? Were you Among Those Who Spent a Great Deal of Time and Money with Lipodissolve Without any Results? Let Us Hear Your Story.

Sunday, April 25th, 2010

The FDA has finally issue a warning and information about the ineffectiveness of “LIPODISSOLVE” which the American Society of Plastic Surgeons has cautioned about ever since its inception.

What makes you think that injecting a significant amount of toxins in your body to kill the fat cells would not hurt or effect you the rest of you? Furthermore, if you kill the cells and don’t remove them, why would you think that there wouldn’t be major irregularities and a minimal change in contour?

Many people suffered fairly profound discomfort and pain after the injections and complained of being even bigger than before the injections due to the swelling and inflammation that resulted from the toxin injections. Lipodissolve was not cheap and could cost upwards of $5000 by the end of the required sequence of injections. Most patients believed since it wasn’t “surgery,” lipodissolve was safer and could be done without down time. The part that they didn’t understand was that the results were also not as advertised!

Liposuction often does require anesthesia but it also completely removes the fat cells that create the contour deformity that may be causing the lumps and bumps of your body, i.e., saddle bags, the pooch of the tummy, and the round pear hips. It can’t remove every last bit of fat since your body needs some subcutaneous fat for your skin to appear smooth, but liposuction can significantly change the shape of your body whether it is in men in the love handle areas, or women for the stubborn outer thigh saddle bag area.
