Thread Lift

Designed for patients who want facial rejuvenation without undergoing a facelift or brow lift, a thread lift raises drooping or sagging tissue to a more youthful position. Contour Threads™ are thin, flexible sutures that are placed underneath the skin from the ear to the hairline. The threads can rejuvenate sagging foreheads, eyebrows and cheeks. The threads are colorless, so they cannot be seen through even thin or pale skin.
The threads have tiny barbs that grip sagging tissue and lift it to a more youthful position when the threads are gently pulled. The threads are left in place to give patients a long-lasting lift that improves over time as natural collagen and elastic fibers are naturally produced around the threads.
Contour Threads™ are made of polypropylene which is a material commonly used for dissolvable stitches. The thread lift procedure is reversible for patients who eventually elect to have a facelift or brow lift.
